This program is designed specifically for mothers and mothers to be. It’s birth came about after the first hand experience of the benefit that the understanding and practice of classical yoga brings to the unique challenges and opportunities experienced in the role of motherhood. Yoga brings clarity, reduces anxious and depressive tendencies, and offers a way to thoroughly enjoy the all-encompassing role of motherhood. The teachings of Yoga go far beyond simply physical exercise or stretches. Even the Asana part of Yoga, which is not purely physical, has mental and spiritual benefits. Motherhood Yoga Gatherings
A Family Friendly Experience
While motherhood yoga gatherings are focused on the mother, all members of your family are welcome to join. Childrens activities are provided so that mothers can fully enjoy their daily yoga classes. There will also be yoga classes for children.
Organic, vegetarian meals will be served with snacks provided in between.
The gathering is open to all, regardless of tradition, and is held in sacred and safe space with respect for all.
The program schedule follows closely with the Ashram Daily Schedule.
